Learning the Ropes: JPL Environmental Programs
Join us for a tour of the sustainable projects going on at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. The lodge, along with Accor Hotels, participates in the Planet 21 program, a sustainable program made up of 76 actions to promote sustainable hospitality.
Starting from the lobby, the tour will explore the sorting system in the kitchens and staff cafeteria, JPL’s recycling shed and engineering yard where recycled items are sorted and stored, and we will end at the Greenhouse, where we will see the plants and vegetables that are grown right on property. Along the way we will see all the new critical infrastructure projects that JPL has under gone in 2019, including landscaping, drainage and management of water leaks.
